Calligraphic Logo and Visual Identity Elements for the Italian Restaurant POCO di buono

1. The logo for this cozy spot, founded by a true chef from the homeland of pizza, was created through calligraphy and lettering. This typographic approach was inspired by the traditions of hand-prepared food that the restaurant follows. Here, even the pasta is made fresh by the chefs right before cooking — this is called pasta fresca (fresh pasta). From Naples, the capital of Italian pizza, they brought a wood-fired oven to bake the iconic dish according to all the rules.

2. Knowing how much the founders of POCO di buono cherish their cuisine, we couldn’t take any other approach. In search of the perfect logo recipe, we conducted research and created dozens of drafts. The result is a logo that feels as if it came directly from a Southern European country with early 20th-century traditions and became our favorite neighbor. It’s the kind of place you want to pop into for a lunch break during work or gather for a warm family dinner after a bustling walk in the park.

3. In addition to the logo, a core color palette was selected for the restaurant's design and visual communications, a font pair was established, and a set of icons and a photography style were developed. The icons reflect the attributes of Italian cuisine and are used for navigation, menu descriptions, dish specifics, as well as social media design.

The style developed for POCO di buono feels familiar, traditional, and appetizing — a perfect match for this culinary genre.
