Brand identity for italian food restaurant Vivi

In the brand identity for Vivi, we merged the ideas of art and food—just as it’s done in Italy. Cooking and creativity both fill life with pleasure and often intersect—food itself can be a work of art. To achieve this unity, we addressed the visual code of the Renaissance which became the foundation for the restaurant’s main identity elements.

In Vivi you can have not only а gastronomic experience but an aesthetic one too—immersing yourself in Italian culture and values born during the Renaissance. One of its key traits is a focus on the human being. It was a time of liberation when people were finally free to express their emotions and experience pleasure.

One of the central identity elements—the Romanesque arch—references Italian architectural heritage. This decision complements the restaurant’s classic interior and emphasizes its connection to the country's centuries-old culture. Real paintings by artist Giovanna Garzoni were used for illustrations, the image rights officially acquired by the restaurant.
